
FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A Manitoba man was injured after two semi’s crashed on Interstate 29 around 2:30am Friday, February 29th in Cass County near mile marker 67.
The Highway Patrol said the driver of the Kenworth was driving northbound, entering I-29 and was struck from behind by the cattle hauler. The Kenworth came to rest on the shoulder of the road and the cattle hauler came to rest in the right lane.
The driver of the cattle hauler was able to exit the truck prior to it catching fire and becoming engulfed in flames. The driver of the cattle hauler suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
Charges are pending against both drivers, a 72-year-old man from Brainerd, Minnesota and the other driver a 66-year-old from Forrest, Manitoba.
