
JAMESTOWN (NewsDakota)- The 2025 Class B Girls Postseason continued on Monday with the Quarterfinal round of the Region I Tournament at the Jamestown Civic Center.
GAME ONE: (D2-1) Linton-HMB 46 (D1-4) Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 32
One game after scoring 35 points in the District 2 final, Lions senior Jersey Vogel scored 26 points and an early 14-0 run was the difference as Linton-HMB defeated the Warbirds. Linton-HMB had more offensive rebounds (23) than Wyndmere-Lidgerwood had total rebounds (22) to advance to the semifinal.
GAME TWO: (D2-3) Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier 41 (D1-2) Sargent County 39
A late rally came up just short as the Rebels advanced to a rematch of the District 2 Semifinal with a 41-39 win over the Bulldogs. E-K-M built a lead as large as eleven in the third quarter before Sargent County rallied and had their potential game-tying shot at the buzzer come up just short. Libby Mathern led the Rebels with 12 while Emma Bixby had 13 for the Bulldogs.
GAME THREE: (D1-1) Maple River vs (D2-4) Kidder County
GAME FOUR: (D2-2) LaMoure-LM vs (D1-3) Oakes
