LaCROSSE, WI – Viterbo came from two sets to one down on Friday to defeat University of Jamestown Men’s Volleyball 25-27, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 15-13 at the R.W. Beggs Sr. Gymnasium.

UJ (4-10) led 8-7 in the fifth set before Viterbo (2-8) scored on four Jimmie attack errors and two kills by Ethan Davis for a 13-10 lead.  Davis had another kill for a 14-11 lead.  A Gaven Hackley kill and Viterbo attack error brought UJ within 14-13, but the V-Hawks’ Stryk Myrhe had a kill to end the match.

Davis had 17 kills, three aces and 11 digs for Viterbo.  Alex Kratzenstein had 14 digs.

Markam Cook and Tomasz Swiderski each had 11 kills for Jamestown.  Ethan Hoffert made 14 digs.  Gabriel Ocasio had 30 set assists.

Jamestown will play second-ranked St. Xavier on Saturday in LaCrosse.
