VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Police Department said 50-year-old Terry Jay Sorenson of Valley City was found dead in an alleyway in Valley City on Friday, February 21 around 7:27 A.M.

Police Chief Nick Horner said officers responded to a call for service in the 400 block of 3rd St. Northwest for a unattended death. Officers found Sorenson deceased in the alleyway.

Horner said no foul play is suspected, but the cause of death remains under investigation.
