
O’FALLON, IL – A day after University of Jamestown Women’s Hockey pulled of an upset of McKendree, they were no match for the number one team.
Brielle Fussy scored a natural hat trick with the first three goals for Liberty in a 7-0 blanking of Jamestown Friday in a semifinal of the Women’s Midwest College Hockey Tournament at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex.
Zosia Adamek also had two goals for Liberty (18-3-0-0).
Jamestown (8-16-4-3) was out shot 38-20. Starting goalie Lilah Drew made 18 saves before being pulled just over halfway through the second period. Katelyn Galuszka made 13 saves.
