GRAND FORKS – Chesney Sigdahl scored twice Friday as the Grand Forks Knightriders defeated Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Hockey 7-1 at Eagles Arena.

Brooklyn Soderberg and Sigdahl scored in the first period for Grand Forks (13-2-3-1).  Nora Hale and Elizabeth Kilgore scored in the second period for a 4-0 Knightrider lead.

Sigdahl and Alaina Marto scored early in the third period before Layni Bakalar scored for Jamestown (4-16-0-2) at 6:30.  Dustee Balek added another for Grand Forks in the last seconds.

Jamestown will end their season by hosting Devils Lake at Wilson Arena on Tuesday.  Coverage will begin at 6:45 PM on The Voice of the Blue Jays, Jamestown 107.1.
