VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCBA) – The Valley City Baseball Association will host a Preseason Informational Meeting on Sunday, Feb. 23, regarding its summer American Legion and Babe Ruth baseball teams.

The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Valley City High School Theater. Parents or guardians of players ages 13-18 planning to play Valley City Legion or Babe Ruth baseball this summer are encouraged to attend. VCBA board members will be on hand to talk about and answer questions regarding the upcoming season, the VCBA baseball programs and future plans.

The Feb. 23 meeting will also serve as the VCBA’s annual meeting where community members can hear about the VCBA budget.

Early registration for the VCBA summer baseball programs is now open and can be done online at www.valleycitybaseball.org/registration. Players that register before March 15 will receive the early registration rate of $200 for Babe Ruth and $250 for Legion. Registration fees for those signing up after March 15 will be $250 for Babe Ruth players and $300 for Legion.
