JAMESTOWN – University of Jamestown Men’s Volleyball split in their last two home matches of 2025 Saturday in the UJ Invitational at Harold Newman Arena.  The Jimmies stopped Simpson University in four sets before losing in four sets to Benedictine Mesa.

Jamestown def. Simpson, 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-22
Michal Niemiec had 15 kills as the Jimmies rebounded after a slow first set to hit .292. Benjamin Allred had nine kills and six blocks. Kaden Jenkins scored two aces and Gabriel Ocasio had 32 set assists.

Benedictine Mesa def. Jamestown, 25-20, 25-16, 21-25, 25-21
Landon Fuller had 13 kills for the Redhawks with two aces. Dapre Rogers scored 12 kills and two aces in BMU’s second win of the weekend over the Jimmies.

Niemiec had 13 kills for Jamestown (4-9). Tomasz Swiderski had 10 kills and two aces. Ocasio had 37 set assists.

UJ’s next match will be against Viterbo on Friday, February 21 at LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
