GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NWS) – Winter Weather Advisory in effect through Saturday, February 8th.

3 to 5 inches of snowfall expected for a large area of southeast North Dakota and west central Minnesota Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.

The snowfall amounts over 6 inches south of Highway 46 to the South Dakota border with heavier amounts possible near the border.

2 to 4 inches of snow expected along the Interstate 94 corridor from Valley City to Fargo.

North wind expected to range from 5 to 15 mph during this snowfall event.
