VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSUVikings.com) – The Valley City State University track & field team is headed back North Dakota State University to compete in the Bison Open and Multi on Feb. 7 and 8.

On Friday the action starts at 12:00 p.m. with the men’s heptathlon and 12:30 p.m. with the women’s pentathlon. Field events follow at starting at 1:00 p.m. Running events start at 3:30.

Saturday begins at 11:00 a.am. with the heptathlon. Field events begin at 2:00 p.m. with running events starting at 2:30 p.m.

Last week VCSU’s Jasmine Barnes broke the school record 1000-meter posting a time of 3:10.90. She will be running the mile and the 1000-meter once again,

Karly Just took second in the 3000-meter at the UND Open. She is set to run the mile and 3000-meter.

Emma Muggli is set to compete in the Pentathlon. Muggli has had strong performances in the in the 60-meter hurdles, 800-meter and weight throw this season.

Cameron Champaigne, who as consistantly produced top eight finishes this season, will compete in the triple jump.

Aaron Cutshall looks to improve his season best tally in the long jump and 60-meter dash.
