VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Public Works crews will be doing snow removal on emergency routes and hills today until 4pm.
Crews will return at midnight on Friday, February 7th to remove snow in the downtown and school districts and continue to evaluate emergency routes through out the day on Friday.
With an anticipated 2-4 additional inches of new snow in the forecast Friday night, crews will remove snow on emergency routes and hills Saturday morning and start residential snow removal in the Southeast section of town, (rotating clockwise through the city) upon the completion of emergency routes Saturday, February 8th. Crews will park at 4pm Saturday and return at midnight on Sunday, February 9th for snow removal in the downtown and school districts. Crews will resume residential snow removal upon the completion of downtown and school districts. Work will continue through the day on Sunday, February 9th.
