VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota State Crop Show is held every year, in conjunction with the North Dakota Winter Show, exhibitors may enter in the 4-H, FFA, or Open Division categories. Rules and regulations are available in the Crop Show Book on the North Dakota Winter Show website northdakotawintershow.com by clicking the Crop Sample Request form.
NDSU Extension Educator Alicia Harstad said one commodity category is canola. She talked about why more Barnes County farmers have been planting canola over the last few years.
The North Dakota State Crop Show will be held Friday, February 28th in the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center. She said the deadline to submit entries is February 26th. The full interview with Alicia is below.
