
FARGO – Kenleigh Fischer notched a hat trick Tuesday and Olivia Kalbus scored twice as league leader Fargo North/South routed Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Hockey 6-1 at Carlson Coliseum, the Blue Jays’ fifth straight loss (0-4-0-1).
Fargo North/South (15-1-1-2, 14-1-1-2 League) outshot Jamestown 47-9 and took the lead 3:44 into the game on Kalbus’ first goal. Fischer scored at 8:01 and 12:12 and the Spruins led 3-0 after one period.
Kalbus scored a power play goal at 9:35 of the second period, with Paige Rorich scoring at 10:59 and Fischer putting in her third of the game at 12:09.
Stella Belzer gave Jamestown (4-15-0-1, 3-15-0-1) its goal 19 seconds into the third period on the power play.
The Blue Jays will play Friday at Dickinson.
