FREMONT, NE – Top-ranked Midland defeated 14th-ranked University of Jamestown ACHA Women’s Hockey for the fifth time in as many meetings this season, taking a 4-0 win Saturday at the Sidner Ice Arena.
Jamestown (7-16-3) missed a lot of chances, going 0-for-10 on the power play.
Midland had goals from Brooke Barylski, Darbi Poole, Rylee Martin and Grace Page. Barylski and Martin scored on the power play. The Vikings had a 48-18 shot advantage.
UJ will meet Midland again on Sunday in Fremont, Nebraska.
