MANDAN – Games are running out for Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Hockey and they are coming no closer to a playoff spot.

The Blue Jays suffered their fifth straight defeat on Friday, losing 4-0 to Mandan at the Starion Sports Complex.

After a scoreless first period, Khloe Schmidt and Taylor Myhre scored in the second period for the Braves (11-3-0-2, 10-3-0-2 League).  Brenna Bauman and Abby Ross scored in the third period.

Jamestown (4-14-0-1, 3-14-0-1) was held to 18 shots on goal and remained at 10 points.  Through Friday, Jamestown remained eight points behind eighth-place Fargo Davies with only four games left in the regular season.

The next of those games will be on Tuesday against Fargo North/South at the Fargo Coliseum.
