BISMARCK – University of Jamestown’s Track & Field teams both had sixth-place finishes on Saturday at the UMary Winter Classic at the UMary Fieldhouse.

For the Jimmie women, Isabelle Julian was second in the 5000 meters, running 20:31.24.

Paige Erhardt was fifth in the high jump at 1.53 m and eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a ttime of 9.76.

Finishing sixth were Cambrie Fischer with 4.79 m in the long jump and Brenna Held in the shot put with 12.29 m.

Mackenzie Bakken cleared 9.21 m for seventh in the triple jump to take seventh.

Also in eighth was mile runner Lily Petty in 5:43.49.

Victor Ramos had the best finish for UJ’s men, taking fourth in the weight throw at 17.04 m.

Dawson Sedivec was fifth in the weight throw at 16.57 m and achieved 14.51 m to finish seventh in the shot put.

Dylan Frusciante cleared 1.82 m for sixth in the high jump.

Ethan Lieb was seventh in the high jump at 1.77 m.

In the 800 meters, Lucas Dahl placed eighth, running 2:04.61.

Both teams will compete Saturday at the UND Indoor Open in Grand Forks.
