JAMESTOWN – Sarah Sweitzer scored twice in just over three and a half minutes on Friday as eighth-ranked Niagara rallied to defeat University of Jamestown ACHA Women’s Hockey 3-1 at Wilson Arena.
Sweitzer scored at 4:06 and 7:33 of the third period, then had the primary assist on a power play goal by Raya Vandenbussche at 13:07 of the final frame.
Jamestown (7-12-3-3), who had topped Niagara Thursday, led 1-0 after a power play goal by Kiran Vugeteveen, her 11th, at 7:21 of the second period.
Jamestown fell despite a 46-24 shot advantage. The Jimmies will play Midland on Friday in Fremont, Nebraska.
