JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff helped celebrate the new building for Sooper Stop in Jamestown with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Sooper Stop is located at 811 13th St NE and can be reached at (701) 252-3927.

Board members and leaders with Sooper Stop say plans began for the project in 2019, but were postponed after the COVID-19 pandemic. Overseen by Creative Energy, Inc., Amber Backen says her goal with finishing the project was to keep as much of the work local as possible. Backen says most of the work was completed by local organizations, ensuring support continued for the Jamestown region. The newly finished building and fuel pumps are accompanied by a wide variety of Jamestown-related merchandise, food, and bait and tackle. Plans are underway to open a coffee shop and bakery drive-thru at a later date.

Congratulations to Sooper Stop and everyone involved for their dedication to the growth of our community. The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce commends you for your continued investment.
