ABERDEEN, SD – Northern State defeated University of Jamestown Track & Field in duals Saturday at Wachs Arena.

NSU’s women defeated UJ 92.5 to 44.5.  The Wolves’ men were 121-17 winners over the Jimmies.

Three Jamestown women won events.  Cambrie Fischer had a personal best 4.98 meters to win the long jump.  Brenna Held won both the shot put (12.82 m) and the weight throw (14.70 m).  Ruth Harris completed 10.51 meters to win the triple jump.

For the Jimmie men, Ashton Judge was second in the long jump, clearing a personal best distance of 6.82 meters.  Victor Ramos threw a personal best 16.18 meters to take second in weight throw.  Dawson Sedivec was third in the shot, matching his personal best at 14.7 meters.

Both teams will next compete on Saturday at the UMary Winter Classic in Bismarck.
