On Saturday January 11th, 2025 Mylee won another elite-level tournament – the Bismarck Rotary in dramatic style. Mylee went into the 3rd period of her Championship Match, trailing Riley Clampitt from Glasgow, MT by a score of 1-0. She chose down/bottom position, knowing that an escape would tie the match and give her an opportunity for a win with a takedown, or the match could go to OT.
A minute and a half into the 3rd period, things were not looking good for Mylee. With 30 seconds to go in the match, Mylee had only built to a quad-pod position only once thus far. Clampitt was keeping heavy pressure on Mylee and not letting her even advance from her stomach. Her gas tank was surely running low by now, but her grit and heart were still firing on all cylinders. Every wrestler eventually gets tired. The best though, find a way to wrestle when they are tired. And Mylee found a way. With 6 seconds left in the match, Mylee was able to build up to a quad-pod position, and with one final surge of determination, with only 3 ticks of the clock remaining, she was able to get her hips free, maintain her footing and get behind her opponent, for a 2-point reversal and the win. With this win, Mylee again etches another championship in a high-level tournament in her list of accomplishments.
