VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Tuesday, January 14, Valley City Junior High held its school spelling bee. All junior high students, through their English classes, competed in a 15-question preliminary round, and the top scorers were invited to the school bee.
At the school bee, the top two places went to (1) John Oakland and (2) Cassandra Hansen. John and Cassandra will now advance to the county competition to be held in the Hi Liner Activity Center Lobby on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 1 PM.
