Phyllis Kramlich, 77, of Medina, ND, passed away early Friday morning, January 10, 2025, at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington, ND.

Phyllis was born on June 14, 1947, the daughter of Adam and Frieda (Berreth) Hoff. She grew up in Tappen, ND, and graduated from Tappen High School. Phyllis was united in marriage to Virgil Kramlich on March 26, 1966, in Tappen. They made their home in Tappen, Burley, ID, and Medina. In 1971, they moved to a farm northeast of Medina, where they operated a dairy milking business until 1986. They then began processing meat in their home, and in 1990, they moved to Medina and purchased the locker plant.

Phyllis also worked as a cook at Medina Public School from 1983 to 1990 and later at the North Dakota State Hospital until her retirement. Known for her love of cooking and baking, Phyllis worked at various cafés in Tappen and Medina and even cooked on a wagon train. She also enjoyed playing bingo and visiting casinos in her spare time.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Michael Kramlich and Myron Kramlich; daughter, Melinda (Joe) Deede; grandchildren, Cole (Josslynn) Roemmich, Desiree (Brandon Weatherly) Kramlich, Kaitlyn (Carter Roder) Dehne, and Adam Dehne; great-grandchildren, Josh, Leah, Alyssa, Maverick, Ramsey, Raylen, Scarlett, Waylon, and Kolten; sister, Ruby Wall; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil; brothers, Reuben, Reiney, Melvin, Albert, and Arnold; and sisters, Emma Miller and Irene Reidlinger.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2025, at English Lutheran Church, Medina, ND.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Eddy Funeral Home, and one hour before the service at the church.

Burial: Medina Cemetery, Medina, at a later date.
