JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the most successful Loyal to Local Passport Program in its history!
Designed to encourage local spending during the holiday season, the 4th Annual Loyal to Local Passport Program challenged participants to spend $250 or more at a minimum of five participating businesses per passport. This year, over 60 businesses served as stamping locations, with several more contributing prizes for participants.
A record-breaking 561 passports were turned in, reflecting more than $148,000 spent at local businesses. It’s the highest total ever tracked since the program’s inception.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with this year’s participation,” said Emily Bivens, Executive Director of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce. “This program is a win-win for our community, showcasing the incredible support residents give to our local businesses. From the businesses that stamped passports and donated prizes to the participants who shopped with intention, your collective efforts made a significant impact.”
While the tracked totals are impressive, the Chamber knows the actual economic impact may be even higher.
“We know many people spent even more locally beyond what was recorded in the passports,” added Bivens. “Whether you turned in one passport or multiple, your support is deeply appreciated by the Chamber and by our business community. Programs like Loyal to Local remind us all of the importance of keeping dollars in our community, especially during the holiday season.”
The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce extends its heartfelt thanks to all businesses, sponsors, and participants who helped make this year’s program a resounding success.
