CARRINGTON (NewsDakota)- Over the course of a long season, there will almost always be at least one game where the entire goal is to get the job done, and as quickly as possible.  Friday night was just that for the fourth-ranked Cardinal girls.

Kenadie Pazdernik scored nine of her eleven points on three first quarter triples, and Carrington beat Lisbon 62-27 on Friday night at home.  The hosts, behind five threes in the opening stanza, led 25-6 after one quarter and never looked back, extending the lead to as many as 40 during the fourth quarter.

Edyn Hornaert led nine Cardinal scorers, including four in double digits, with 13 points, while Ryatt Wertman led the Broncos with 12, including three first half triples.

Carrington dives back into Region II play on Tuesday night in Fort Totten against Four Winds-Minnewauken (1-7) with coverage on KDAK The Cardinal Beginning at 7:15 PM.
