WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) took the oath of office, becoming North Dakota’s representative in the U.S. House of Representatives. In a ceremony held in the U.S. Capitol, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) administered the oath alongside Rep. Fedorchak’s family.

“I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust the people of North Dakota have placed in me. Representing our great state is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am committed to bringing North Dakota’s values and priorities to Washington,” Fedorchak said. “From our leadership in energy and agriculture to our independence and common sense, I will work tirelessly to be a voice for solutions to our nation’s greatest problems. This is an incredible moment for our country. We can and must build on our strengths, get our fiscal house in order, and create stability and opportunity for the future.”

The ceremony marked the beginning of Fedorchak’s first term in Congress, where she will bring her dedication and leadership to the nation’s capital. She has been appointed to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee, a key panel at the forefront of all issues and policies powering America’s economy, including energy, health care, and technology.
