JAMESTOWN – Despite another good performance in goal by Ady Bakalar, Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Hockey remained winless at home Tuesday with a 4-0 loss to Bismarck Century at Wilson Arena, the Blue Jays’ sixth consecutive defeat.

Avery Matt was part of all four goals for the Patriots (5-2-3-0, 5-2-2-0 League), scoring twice and assisting on the others.

Bakalar stopped 31 shots in goal for Jamestown (2-10-0-0, 1-9-0-0).

The game was scoreless until Bella Walth tallied with 3:18 left in the second period.

Matt extended the Patriots’ lead to 2-0 with 5:13 remaining in the third period.  Macie Vig scored on the power play just 1:17 later and Century led 3-0.  Matt closed the scoring into an empty net with 44 seconds left.

Century out shot Jamestown 35-25.

The Blue Jays will play West Fargo United Friday at the West Fargo Sports Arena.
