VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public Works Department will be picking up Christmas Trees on Thursday, January 16th citywide. Remember, bases and all plastic must be off the tree or crews will be unable to pick it up.

If you want to dispose  of your tree earlier, the grass collection site  is open 24 hours a day and you can drop off your unwanted Christmas trees there for free. The grass collection site is located west of the Transfer Station southwest of Valley City.
