JAMESTOWN – In the first gymnastics meet of the new year, Jamestown topped five other teams to win Friday at Jamestown Gymnastics Academy.
The Blue Jays scored 140.900 points, ahead of Century’s 139.250.
Jamestown’s Julia Skari was the all-around winner, scoring 36.050. Teammate Sutton Van Gilder was second at 35.650.
Skari finished in a tie for first in the floor exercise and Van Gilder won in the uneven bars.
In the second of back-to-back events, the Blue Jays will compete Saturday in a meet hosted by the Northwest Stars in Ray.
