VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City is reminding the public that vehicles parked on emergency snow routes will be towed if not removed before or during the winter storm. The vehicles need to be moved off emergency routes so city crews can snowplow those streets.

City Administrator Gwen Crawford said residents should ask neighbors or friends if they can park in their driveway, if they have room for an extra vehicle.

She said public works crews will not be picking up garbage on Thursday, December 19th due to the storm. Crews plan to pickup Thursday and Friday’s garbage on Friday in Valley City.
