MINOT – It was an exciting first for Jamestown Blue Jay Boys Swimming & Diving.
The Jays earned the program’s first dual win ever at Minot Tuesday, topping the Magicians 96-87 in the season’s first WDA dual.
Of the 12 events, Jamestown won eight and had seven athletes qualify for the state swimming and diving meet in March. JHS won the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays. Other Jamestown winners were Zach Hanson in the 50 free, Noah Lynch in the 100 free and Kaden Fabian in the 500 free & 100 back.
The Blue Jays will next compete on Friday at Dickinson.
