Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington girls wrestling team finished in sixth place overall and placed 5 girls in the top 6. The tournament was controlled by Bismarck Legacy (BL) outscoring the field of 30 teams with 174 points well ahead of second place Central Cass (CC) with 147 points. The Cards finished with 77 points. West Fargo United (WF) 110, Bismarck Century (BC), 91, and South Border (SB) 83.5 finished 3-5. Legacy finished the tourney with 3 champions and 3 runner-ups. Champions for BL included Keeley Kainoa (106), Alicia Kenfack (118), and Aleiya Cullinan (136). Runner-ups for BL were Scelia Maneze (112), Hannah Ryberg (142), and Savanna Garver (190). CC crowned 2 champions with Anna White (106) and Cheyenne Helland (155). CC also added to runner-ups with Grace Lemar (136) and Mallory DeVries (118).

Carrington placers included Khendra Garcia (124), Jazmyn Ybarra (136), and Kendall Kovar (142) with third place. Madalina Ciubotareanu (148) in fourth place and Grace Inglish (100) with a sixth place finish. Other individual champions included Ava Litsey (112) from South Border, Keisha Tomac (124), New Salem-Almont, Alexis Schneider (130), Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter, Webeline Naklen (142), Fargo, Brynlee Hartsoch (148), WF, Ava Carlblom (170), Lisbon, Koiline Govergo (190), Fargo, and Love Hopkins (250), White Shield.

Carrington girls will travel to Lisbon next Thursday.
