Coach Engen, Head Football Coach
Over the past two seasons, Coach Engen has been an integral part of our football program. His program has helped shape not only the team but also the individual growth of our student-athletes. Coach Engen shared, “It has been a privilege to work with such dedicated student-athletes and to be a part of the coaching staff. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the program. This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration, I believe it is the right time for me to step away.” We extend our gratitude to Coach Engen for his time and effort, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
Coach Deb Beilke, Head Coach of Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams
For an incredible 44 seasons, Coach Beilke has been a cornerstone of Valley City athletics, coaching basketball, volleyball, cross country, and track. Her dedication and passion for developing student-athletes have left an enduring legacy in our school and community. Her contributions have been nothing short of extraordinary, and we are incredibly grateful for her unwavering commitment to our students. As she moves forward, we know her influence and legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
Activities Director Rob Hunt said the process to identify the next head coaches for our football and cross-country programs will begin soon, and updates will be shared in the coming weeks.
