VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Police Department is notifying residents about a high-risk sex offender who has had a change of address in Valley City.

39-year-old Aaron Paul Bever is now residing at 250B 2nd st SE, Valley City, ND 58072. Bever drives a 2002 black, Pontiac, Bonneville.

Bever, a white male, is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair. He has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Bever was convicted of sexual assault of a 15-year-old or older in November of 2022, in Cass County District Court, ND. He was also convicted of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old in May of 2003 in Wisconsin.

Police emphasize that Bever is not currently wanted and has served his court-imposed sentence. The notification aims to ensure public safety and is not intended to incite fear or vigilantism. Residents are warned that harassment, intimidation, or threats against Bever, his family, landlords, or employers will result in prosecution.
