JAMESTOWN – Improvement may be evident for Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Basketball.

Using improved post play, Jamestown routed Fargo South 91-57 Tuesday at Jerry Meyer Arena for the Blue Jays’ first win of the season.

Haley Attleson paced Jamestown (1-1) with 19 points.  Leah Trumbauer scored 17 and hit three of the Blue Jays’ 11 three-pointers.  Adi Yunck scored 11.  Eighth-grader Macey Neumiller dropped in 10.  Milan Martin and Mea Ulland each scored eight.

Jamestown led 22-5 early and 45-25 at halftime, with Attleson scoring 14 in the first half.

The Blue Jays will host West Fargo on Friday at Jerry Meyer Arena.
