BROOKINGS, SD – Brenna Held moved up the list in two University of Jamestown Women’s Indoor Track & Field bests Friday at the SDSU Holiday Open at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

Held was second in the shot put at 42 feet, one and a half inches.  That is tenth-best for the program.  Also, Held was 13th in weight throw at 47 feet, five inches, now fifth-best ever for the UJ program.

Monica Goven was eighth in the triple jump at 34 feet.
Paige Erhardt placed 9th in the high jump at five feet, two and a quarter inches.

In the 3000 meters, Brooke Olsen finished 11th at 11:27.42, Allyson Goodmanson placed 14th at 11:32.33, Emma Reeder was 16th at 11:46.16 and Kirsten Vander Kooi came 17th at 11:47.23.

Ruth Harris was 11th in the triple jump at 31 feet, 10 and a quarter inches and finished 22nd in the pole vault at nine feet, six and a quarter inches.

Also in the pole vault for the Jimmies, Megan Frank was 11th at 10 feet, 11 and three-quarter inches, Quinn Bassingthwaite placed 15th at 10 feet, six inches and Mackenzie Bakken finished 20th at 10 feet.

Cambrie Fischer was 21st in the long jump at 14 feet, eight and three-quarter inches.

Sydney Ulrich finished 23rd in the long jump at 14 feet, 3 and three-quarter inches. She also finished 12th in the triple jump at 31 feet, 4 and three-quarter inches.

Heather Okeson was 33rd in the weight throw with 39 feet, six and a half inches.

UJ will next compete in the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, South Dakota on January 11.
