JAMESTOWN – Nick Cofer made sure Friday was difficult for Jamestown Jimmies ACHA Division 2 Men’s Hockey.

Cofer scored four goals and set up another as Dakota College of Bottineau skated past Jamestown 9-3 at Wilson Arena.

Cofer’s power play goal at 5:21 of the first period tied the game at 1-1.  The Jimmies’ Kalob Paquin had scored 3:11 into the game.

Charlie Heimbecker and Kayden Cey followed with other first-period goals for DCB, who led 3-1 after one period.

Cofer scored all three second period goals for the Lumberjacks around Davis Thompson’s 15th of the season for Jamestown.

Wyatt Curtis, Cey and Jace Thompson all scored in period three for DCB.  Davis Thompson scored again for Jamestown.

DCB had a whopping 64-29 shot-on-goal advantage.  Jimmies’ goalie Ethan Haglund stopped 55 shots.

Jamestown will play DCB in Bottineau on Sunday.
