Randy Jones, 82, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 26, 2024 at SMP Health – St. Catherine North, Fargo, after a long illness.

Randy Jones was born October 31, 1942, in Nashville, TN, the son of Carlos and Margaret (Law) Jones. He attended school in Warner Robins, GA, graduating from high school in 1961. Randy enlisted in the US Air Force and served in the Philippines during the Vietnam conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1966 and was married that year on June 10th to Connie Clemens at Springfield, VA. They made their home in Jamestown and Randy was a long haul truck driver for many years. He worked for the USPS for 5 years, retired in 2010, and spent four years wintering in Arizona. They moved to Fargo in 2019.

Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cowboy action shooting with the Single Action Shooting Society. He was also a member of the Elks, Eagles, and Dakota Anglers.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Jones, Fargo and daughter, Margaret Farley, Fargo.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Margaret Jones and brother, Robert Jones.

Memorial Service – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Eddy Funeral Home, with Pastor Erik Weber officiating.

Burial – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
