VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 25th annual Northstar Classic Cattle show will be held Friday, December 6th through December 8th in Valley City.
The North Dakota Winter Show Event Center is the host of North Star Classic. Cattle will start to arrive on Wednesday, December 4th. On Thursday, December 5th is the entry and stalling deadline for the Open Show. The exhibitor dinner provided by Hurley and Associates will be held at 5:30pm.
On Friday, December 6th the Open Show will kick-off at 8am in the Main Arena. On Friday night the Cattlemen’s Ball and Sale will be held in the South Exhibit Building with a supper, a live auction and raffle prizes starting with the social at 6pm, supper at 7pm, and the sale starts at 7:30pm. Tickets for the Cattlemen’s Ball & Sale are being sold at the North Dakota Winter Show office or from a board director for $100 each. Additional lots may be available on sale day. Open Show Supreme Champions have the option to offer a semen and flush package. Information will be available on sale night.
On Saturday, December 7th a fitting clinic will be held in the Main Arena at 9am. The Fairest of Them All Jackpot Show in the Main Arena at 10am. Pen shows by Les Schwab of Jamestown Sale Arena start at noon. NSC all breeds sale at 3pm. Entry and declare your weight deadline for the junior show start at 4pm. NSC junior exhibitor supper at 5pm. Showmanship in the Main Arena at 6pm.
On Sunday, December 8th Hubbard Feeds show write junior show in the Main Arena at 9am. 30 minutes after the completion of the Junior show, Ag Country Junior prospect steer and heifer showdown in the Main Arena.
