he North Dakota Farmers Union (NDFU) will host its 98th annual state convention on December 13-14 at the Bismarck Event Center. The event will bring together members and agricultural leaders to discuss key issues impacting farming and rural communities.

The convention will focus on the role of future artificial intelligence in farming and managing economic risks in agriculture. National and state experts, including National Farmers Union leadership, economists, and guest speakers, will address these crucial topics.

Attendees will engage in policy debates, set legislative priorities, and elect officers for key roles, including president and district directors. A youth convention will also take place simultaneously, offering activities for younger participants.

Highlights of the event include a tailgate party with food trucks, competitions like cornhole and jigsaw puzzles, and the Agraria Mutual Group’s annual meeting. Breakout sessions, live and silent auctions, and a special Torchbearer ceremony are part of the celebrations.

One lucky attendee will win a $4,000 cash prize. Additional giveaways and prizes are available for those registering through the new NDFU app.
