VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Masonic Lodge #7, along with Mt. Moriah Lodge #51 Williston ND has helped make Thanksgiving a little bit better for some citizens in Valley City.

The Lodge provided turkeys to all the residents they could contact who were displaced from the October 23rd apartment fire in Valley City.

Spokesman Brian Mindt said this is a program that started in Williston by Mt. Moriah Lodge and has now grown statewide. Mindt said this year 400 turkeys were given out statewide to people in need.  In the feature photo is Worshipful Master Brian Mindt with one of the recipients from Valley City.
