WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On December 7, 2024, the community is invited to join us for the enchanting atmosphere of Bonanzaville’s “Christmas on the Prairie.” This delightful event features a special visit from Santa’s reindeer, provided by North Dakota’s only reindeer ranch! A heartwarming celebration that captures the spirit of a simpler, bygone era. Children will be thrilled as they visit Santa, create a holiday-themed craft, make a call to the North Pole, and even print a personalized holiday greeting using an authentic 1890s printer. While the kids enjoy these magical activities, parents can browse a fantastic selection of handcrafted gifts at our large craft show. Enjoy a charming horse-drawn wagon ride through the village and soak in the festive melodies sung by talented carolers. Guests can also savor traditional treats like lefse and krumkake, and even decorate sugar cookies baked in our log cabin’s historic 1800s wood-burning stove!
The event will include a delicious ham Christmas dinner in Bonanzaville’s event center, fascinating historical demonstrations, and the heartwarming tale of Fargo’s first Christmas tree. With many exciting activities, there’s something for everyone! Sponsored by the Horace Lions!
