JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Valley Health District (CVHD), in collaboration with Jamestown Public Schools, is inviting the community to a free event this evening, November 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jamestown High School. The event will feature Michael DeLeon, a nationally recognized speaker renowned for his engaging and impactful presentations on substance abuse prevention and youth empowerment.
Designed for adults who serve and influence youth—including parents, caregivers, educators, law enforcement, community leaders, service groups, church organizations, and coaches—the event aims to foster awareness and provide tools to combat substance abuse.
Attendees will be treated to free pizza, courtesy of CVHD, and will have the chance to win door prizes.
Earlier in the day, DeLeon will present a youth-focused session for Jamestown and surrounding area students, addressing the challenges of substance abuse and encouraging positive life choices.
The event underscores CVHD’s commitment to supporting the well-being of local youth and equipping the community to make a difference. All are welcome to attend.
