BISMARCK – Three first-team selections highlight the 13 University of Jamestown Football players selected to NSAA All-Conference teams, announced Monday.  The selections were made by the conference’s coaches.

Jimmie senior wide receiver Isaiah Roebuck and senior lineman Kole Mack were named first-team All-NSAA on offense.

Roebuck led Jamestown receivers with 36 catches for 483 yards and four touchdowns, ending his career with 125 catches, 1,826 yards and 17 touchdowns in four seasons.  He set a program record with 17 catches in a 35-30 loss to Dickinson State on November 2.  He had 166 yards receiving and two touchdowns in that game.

Mack played 42 games in four seasons as a Jimmie and was considered to be the steadiest of Jamestown’s offensive linemen.

Ezra Belingheri was given a first-team All-NSAA honor on defense.

Belingheri, a senior, was second on the Jimmies with 56 tackles (36 solo).  He had three touchdowns this season, a 15-yard fumble return on October 19 at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium against Dakota State, a 39-yard interception return on October 26 at Mayville State, and a return of a blocked punt for a one-yard touchdown on November 16 at home against VCSU.  Belingheri recorded seven tackles for losses, a sack, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, two pass breakups and a blocked punt.  He finished his 48-game Jimmie career with 213 tackles (132 solo), 24 tackles for losses, six and a half sacks, three interceptions, four fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles, a blocked punt, and seven pass breakups.

Two Jimmies, junior running back Zach Hammett and redshirt freshman offensive lineman Matt Spurlin, were named second team All-NSAA on offense.

Hammett led Jamestown in rushing with 469 yards and five touchdowns on 101 carries.  He had a career high 116 yards rushing at Mayville State on October 26, the first game of over 100 yards by a Jimmie rusher in four years.  That game was the fourth of five consecutive games where Hammett scored a touchdown.  Hammett now has 1,266 yards and 10 touchdowns rushing in 29 games for Jamestown.

Spurlin played in eight games this season, continuing to improve as the Jimmies’ center.

The second team All-NSAA defense features four from Jamestown: redshirt junior defensive lineman Tyler Dean, senior defensive lineman Daniel Erlandson, senior linebacker Jed Rantz and redshirt senior cornerback Ray Benners.

Dean led the Jimmies with three and a half sacks, including two and a half in the November 16 win over VCSU at home.  He had 31 tackles (19 solo) and five tackles for losses.  In 32 games for Jamestown, Dean has 85 tackles (51 solo), 17 tackles for losses and eight and a half sacks.

Erlandson made several clutch plays among his 33 tackles (16 solo).  He also recorded four tackles for losses and one-half sack.  Erlandson played 32 games for Jamestown and had 57 tackles (29 solo), six tackles for losses and one-half sack.

Rantz led the NSAA in tackles with 84 (51 solo), placing him in the top 20 in NAIA football during the regular season.  He registered six and a half tackles for losses, one and a half sacks, and a fumble recovery & forced fumble, both of which came September 5 at Chadron State.  Rantz ended a stellar Jimmie career of 46 games with 252 tackles (145 solo), 23 and a half tackles for losses, five sacks, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and two pass breakups.

Chafee was third on the team with 47 tackles (28 solo).  He also recorded two tackles for losses, two interceptions, and a 68-yard fumble return touchdown September 5 at Chadron State.

Diaz was second on the Jimmies with two sacks.  He had 32 tackles (19 solo), four and a half tackles for losses and a pass breakup.
