ROMEOVILLE, IL – Kaleb Percival scored his first collegiate goal with just over six minutes remaining Saturday to put University of Jamestown ACHA D1 Men’s Hockey ahead in a 3-1 win over Michigan-Dearborn in the Chicago Showcase at the Canlan Ice Sports Arena.

Percival scored at 13:38 of the third period, set up by Carter Johnson and Rob Thomas, and Jamestown (14-2-0-0) had a 2-1 lead.

Brad Fortin scored his team-leading 13th goal into an empty net with 1:19 left.

Michigan-Dearborn (8-7-0-1) scored first from Justin Renzi had 8:20 of the second period.

Zane MacDonald tied the game with his fourth goal 1:23 later.  Fortin and Matthew Poole had assists.

Brandon Weare made 25 saves for the Jimmies, who outshot Michigan-Dearborn 40-27 and killed off all five Wolverine powerplays.

The second-ranked Jimmies will play 20th-ranked Arizona State on Sunday.
