Four Jamestown Blue Jays, all seniors, earned 2024 Class AA All-State team berths, as chosen by the North Dakota High School Coaches Association.

Vaughn Romsdal was named first-team All-State as an offensive lineman.  Romsdal played steadily at center, anchoring the Jamestown O-line.

Linebacker Max Rittenbach was also named first-team All-State.  Rittenbach was the Blue Jays’ leading tackler with 83 (54 solo).  He had 16 tackles for losses, six sacks, a fumble recovery for a touchdown and a forced fumble.

Kelan Harstad and Caleb Schiele were named to the second team.  Harstad was Jamestown’s leading rusher with 761 yards (4.6/carry) and 10 touchdowns.  On defense, Harstad made three interceptions, recorded 44 tackles (29 solo) and had a fumble recovery.  Schiele led Blue Jay receivers with 39 for 406 yards and three touchdowns.  Defensively, Schiele had 35 tackles (25 solo), four tackles for losses and a fumble recovery.
