Norma was born in Valley City, ND, on September 6, 1933, to Edward and Agnes Artis. While working in Valley City, she met the love of her life, Edward Rambow. They were married on November 28, 1955. Edward and Norma raised three daughters: Nancy, Susan, and Cheri. After Edward Rambow’s death in 1990, she moved to Hawley, MN, to be near her daughters. While living in Hawley, she met Edward W. Anderson, and they were married on May 1, 1997. After their marriage, she moved to Fargo, ND.
Norma was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Valley City, where she enjoyed singing and serving the Lord in various ways. She was also a lifetime member of the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion.
Norma enjoyed many activities, including playing games, baking, reading, quilting, and spending time with close friends. However, what she loved most was spending time with her three daughters.
She is survived by her daughters: Nancy (Gary) Ronsberg of Hawley, MN; Susan (Paul) Maly of Fargo, ND; and Cheri (Steve) Merrill of Hawley, MN; six grandchildren: Michael, Dustin, Matthew, Shawn, Christopher, and Jeramy; and five great-grandchildren: Taylin, Stetson, Cathrine, Edward, and Phillip.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Agnes Artis; her two husbands, Edward Rambow and Edward Anderson; her sister, Nana; and one grandchild, Tyler.
