BISMARCK – Jamestown Jimmies John Grann and Ezra Belingheri earned player-of-the-week honors in the last-ever regular season week of North Star Athletic Association Football.

Grann was named the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Jimmies’ 28-17 season-ending victory over Valley City State at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.  Grann was 23-of-36 for 262 yards and two touchdowns passing and also had a touchdown rushing.

Belingheri is the last NSAA Defensive Player of the Week.  In his final game for Jamestown, Belingheri blocked a punt and returned it for the Jimmies’ go-ahead touchdown early in the fourth quarter, his third touchdown this season.  Belingheri also recorded an interception, two pass breakups and three solo tackles.
