JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) On Tuesday, November 12 around 8:39am, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 14th Street Northeast in Jamestown to a report of a gun shot. Upon arrival the victim reported a gun
shot was heard and a bullet came through her floor and into her patio door.
After further investigation it was found that a 16-year-old juvenile had a gun in the apartment below her and while handling the gun it went off. No one was harmed during the incident and the juvenile is being referred to juvenile court on suspicion of Reckless Endangerment and Discharging a Firearm in City limits.
This incident is still under investigation and is not related to the gun shot incident reported on Monday, November 11th at a park in Jamestown. No injuries were reported in either of these incidents.
