JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Arts Center (JFAA) is celebrating six decades of artistic innovation with the “6×6 Anniversary Show: A Celebration of 60 Years of Creativity,” an exhibition and auction featuring more than 200 works of art by local and regional artists. The show, running from November 7 through December 14 at The Arts Center, showcases pieces measuring six inches by six inches. The collection includes a diverse array of media, such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, and mixed media, highlighting the creativity and talent within the community while celebrating the transformative power of art.
“We are thrilled to celebrate 60 years of creativity, community, and artistic growth at The Arts Center,” said Mindi Schmitz, Executive Director. “The ‘6×6 Anniversary Show’ is a testament to the strength and diversity of our creative community, and we are excited to offer the public the opportunity to experience this incredible collection of artwork while supporting local artists.”
The exhibition also features a silent auction, providing art enthusiasts an opportunity to bid on their favorite pieces while supporting The Arts Center’s mission to promote the arts in the community. Proceeds from the auction will fund future programs, exhibitions, and educational initiatives. The online auction runs from November 7 through December 8, with items available for preview and bidding on The Arts Center’s website and GiveButter.
