LaMoure, ND (NewsDakota.com) – Lamoure-Litchville-Marion scored four first quarter touchdowns and cruised to a 73-20 victory over South Prairie-Max in playoff football Saturday, November 2nd at Townsend field in LaMoure.
The Loboes scored four times in the first seven and a half minutes and never looked back building the lead to 60-6 by halftime.
RB Gunner Thielges continued his massive season with 147 yards rushing and five touchdowns. The versatile Junior reached pay dirt on runs of 23, 14 & 5 yards, caught a 40 yard td reception and threw a 20 yard td pass. Thielges was able to rest the second half due to the separation on the scoreboard.
Sophomore QB Mason Warken threw three td passes, caught a td pass and ran for a score from 18 yards out.
Senior Brayan Karlgaard caught a 46 td pass and came up with an interception that set up a Loboe td.
Junior Tucker Jones recovered a fumble that set up the Loboes third td of the game.
The Royals tandem of Senior QB Hayden Bohl and Senior WR Jaxin Anderson hooked up for two td passes that covered 54 and 8 yards.
L-M-M improved to 10-0 and will host 10-0 Linton HMB S-Z in the semifinals Saturday, November 9th at Townsend Field in LaMoure. The Lions beat Cavalier in their quarterfinal round game 30-18.
